Flute is one of the less common instruments at our school, yet some of our most talented and ethically hard working tutors are on this topic, with hundreds of students graduating from our courses and passing various exams, winning titles or awards and proving themselves that they can be the next person to challenge those above them. Flute may be an abstract way of music, but our affordable and high-quality courses will help your talent and curiosity shine.

Learn how to play an instrument that is famous to be one of the oldest instruments in history.

 

The flute is said to be one of the oldest instruments, even said to be the first woodwind instrument. It has even been discovered to have been played as far back as the Stone Age! It has changed a lot since and is now used in musical groups such orchestras and marching bands.

We have a range of studio spaces at the Academy to help teach the flute in a quiet and relaxing environment. To teach the flute, we use a range of teaching resources to help you create the different moods of this instrument. Flutes are known to make both high pitched noises and gentle sounds.

Whether you want to learn the standard flute or give the piccolo a go, we can offer the space and support needed to learn this amazing instrument. Our dedicated flute tutors have taught hundreds of students and have experience in teaching a variety of styles. We offer courses and expertise for beginners, intermediates and musicians who have been playing for years.

Whether you want to take exams, prepare for a performance or recording or simply enjoy playing we can tailor our courses to help you achieve your aims. We can offer flute lessons that suits to your busy schedule, from Mondays to Saturdays, 9am to 9 pm. We offer fun and exciting lessons for 1 hour at a time.

 

We offer a free taster lesson to all new students and the opportunity to come in to practice with our facilities during the week for all students. So, if you need to use one of our studio spaces in preparations for an exam, or if you need a quiet space to practice, you can use the facilities at the academy. 

Subjects are taught in 12 week terms. For Private Lessons, the dates are chosen by the pupil after registration. The Music Groups (2-6 pupils) have a regular weekly schedule, with the exception of public holidays. You can REGISTER online, book a FREE LESSON or CONTACT US for more information.
