Drum and percussion lessons

 

 

Drums are another instrument very common with the youth, with plenty of teenagers and younger adults coming to our academy to play percussion at the highest level. Our various tutors and dedicated teachers have shown to develop their students into top-grade percussionists successfully without fail, and perhaps you could be the next hit thanks to our proven courses.

We offer a free taster lesson to all new students and the the opportunity to come in to practice with our facilities during the week for all students.

Drums are a fun and exciting instrument to learn rhythms and beats. There is a wide variety of drums all around the world, from the African’s Talking Drum, to the Cuban Congo Drums. Drums and percussion instruments are an essential must for any orchestra, band or music group.

We offer drumming lessons for anyone, whether you want to learn how to read drumming theory or if you want to learn for fun. We have a range of teaching resources to suit your level and age, including an electric drum kit. We have a full set drum kit available as well as a range of other percussion instruments.

Practice rooms can also be booked to play drums at our premises in Southampton 

 

At Southampton Arts Academy we offer drum lessons as well as practice facilities for students to use throughout the week. Our dedicated drum tutor has experience in teaching a variety of styles. We can offer drum lessons that suits to your busy schedule, from Monday to Saturdays, 9am to 9 pm. We offer fun and exciting lessons for 1 hour at a time.

We offer a free taster lesson to all new students and the opportunity to come in to practice with our facilities during the week for all students. So, if you need to use one of our studio spaces in preparations for an exam, or if you need a quiet space to practice, you can use the facilities at the academy.

Subjects are taught in 12 week terms. For Private Lessons, the dates are chosen by the pupil after registration. The Music Groups (2-6 pupils) have a regular weekly schedule, with the exception of public holidays. You can REGISTER online, book a FREE LESSON or CONTACT US for more information.
